It's a Tuesday night and everyone in Cabin #7 @ Old Greenwood has turned in. Today activities included golf @ Gray's Crossing with perfect sunny weather and clear mountain air, lunch on the PJ's patio there (named for designer Peter Jacobsen), naps, sunset dinner at Gar Wood restaurant lakeside, and home for rousing games of Left/Right/Center and Golf (cards)...
I'm just struck again at the joy of being with old friends such as hosts Roddes, and fellow cabin guests Dallases. To be back out on the golf course today watching George with Bob and Patrick was so much fun - it was a reprise of all those Blackhawk rounds played long ago. The bets and presses and trash talk haven't changed in 20 years!
